Disclaimer & Cookies Policy
Two things live on this page: a general disclaimer about the information on this website, and a full explanation of the cookies we use — including how our cookie notice automatically adapts for visitors from the EU, UK, USA and elsewhere.
On this page
1. General disclaimer
The content on this website is provided for general information about AbpioDevelopers and our ABP.IO and ASP.NET Zero services. It is not professional, technical, legal or financial advice, and should not be relied on as such without independent verification for your specific situation. While we take reasonable care to keep information accurate and up to date, we make no representation or warranty that content on this site is complete, current or error-free, and we accept no liability for any loss arising from reliance on it, to the extent permitted by law.
2. External links
This website may link to third-party websites (for example, official ABP.IO or ASP.NET Zero documentation) for convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy or privacy practices of external sites, and including a link does not imply endorsement.
3. Trademarks
ABP.IO® and ASP.NET Zero® are trademarks of their respective owners. AbpioDevelopers is an independent service provider offering development, migration, consulting and support services around these frameworks, and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to either project or its trademark owners.
4. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files (and similar technologies, like local browser storage) placed on your device when you visit a website. They can be "strictly necessary" for the site to work, or "non-essential" — used, for example, to remember preferences or measure how the site is used.
5. How our cookie notice adapts by region
AbpioDevelopers is based in Pakistan, but we work with clients across the EU, UK, USA and beyond. Cookie-consent rules differ by region, so when you visit this site we make a best-effort detection of your approximate country (from your IP address, processed only for this purpose and not stored beyond your session) and show the version of the cookie notice that matches your region's expectations:
| Region | Framework | What you see |
|---|---|---|
| European Union / EEA | GDPR + ePrivacy | Opt-in banner. Non-essential cookies stay off until you click Accept or enable them in preferences. |
| United Kingdom | UK GDPR + PECR | Same opt-in banner, referencing the ICO as regulator. |
| United States | CCPA / CPRA (state privacy laws) | Notice with a clear "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" control. We also automatically honour any Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal your browser sends. |
| All other regions, incl. Pakistan | General good practice | A short, dismissible informational notice. |
If location detection fails or is blocked (for example, by a privacy extension), we default to the strictest option — the EU/UK opt-in banner — so we never under-ask for consent.
6. Cookie categories we use
| Category | Purpose | Can be switched off? |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Core site functions: navigation, the contact form, remembering your cookie choice itself, basic security. | No — required for the site to work. |
| Analytics | Understanding how visitors use the site (pages viewed, general navigation patterns) so we can improve it. Not currently active on every page — enabled only where you've consented. | Yes, at any time. |
| Marketing / Sharing | Reserved for any future measurement of marketing effectiveness or cross-context advertising. Not currently active by default. | Yes, at any time. |
7. EU & UK visitors: opt-in required
If you're visiting from the EU or UK, non-essential cookies (analytics, marketing) remain switched off until you actively choose "Accept all" or enable specific categories via "Manage preferences." You can withdraw consent at any time — see Managing or withdrawing consent below.
8. USA visitors: opt-out & "Do Not Sell or Share"
If you're visiting from the United States, our notice explains that we do not sell personal information for money, and gives you a direct "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" choice covering any cross-context advertising use of cookies. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we detect and honour it automatically as an opt-out, without you needing to click anything.
9. Visitors from other regions
Outside the EU, UK and USA — including from Pakistan — you'll see a short notice confirming that cookies are in use, with a link to this page. It's dismissible and doesn't block anything, but you can still open "Manage preferences" from it if you'd like more control.
10. Managing or withdrawing your consent
You can change your cookie choices at any time by clicking Cookie Settings in the footer of any page on this site. This reopens the preferences panel where you can switch analytics and marketing cookies on or off. Necessary cookies can't be disabled from within the site, as the site would not function correctly without them — you can still block them at the browser level (see below), but some features may stop working.
11. Browser-level controls
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies directly in their settings, and many support the Global Privacy Control signal referenced above. Blocking all cookies may affect how this and other websites function. Because cookie settings differ by browser, please check your specific browser's help documentation for instructions.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Disclaimer & Cookies Policy from time to time, for example if we introduce a new cookie category or a region's rules change. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the latest revision.
